I efiled 2017 federal do i need to send in w2s and 1099 MISC with my mailed Michigan state return

Yes, if you are mailing your State of Michigan return, attach any income documents such as any W-2 or 1099 forms you have.

Pages 4-5.  Additionally, the turbo tax cover sheet doesn't mention it.
