I downloaded my financial documents from my financial institution, how do I find them in the desktop version of turbotax?

The first item on the income summary list is Import Summary - Click View

what type of documents? are they PDFs not usable by Turbotax or files with a .txf extension that can only be entered in Turbotax by using the import function which is done through the desktop: file->import->from accounting software .
