I dont have a home credit certificate.... nor do i understand what that means any ideas?

Yes, it sounds like you may have started a Mortgage Certificate Credit in your return, but don't have one. 

 

This is how to delete the form:

 

 

1. Sign in to  your TurboTax​ account.
2. Select Pick up where I left off.
3. Select Tax Tools, then Tools.
4. Select Delete a form, from the list in the pop-up window. 
5. Select Delete next to Form 8396.
6. Confirm your Delete, select Continue, then Continue with my return.
7. Select Deductions & Credits from the left-side menu.
8. Select Revisit to the right of Mortgage Interest Credit Certificate.
9. Answer No to Do you have a mortgage credit certificate?
10. Select Review from the left-side menu.
11. Continue through the review process and file section to e-file your return.
