This can resolve this very simply.
You can delete any state tax return at any time, and even if it's filled out you can choose not to pay or file it.
Log into TurboTax
- On the left sidebar
- Under State taxes
- Select Prepare State
- All states that are on your return will be listed
- Select the Trash Can next to each that you want to delete
Just a note of caution. If TurboTax determined that a State tax was due, there would have been a reason.
