I don't have any state taxes so why can't I finish my taxes

Did you add a state but you are not required to file a state return?

Delete the state and finish filing your Federal return:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Select State from the left Menu.
3. on the screen Status of your state returns select delete next to the state.
