I don't have any excess SDI payments. I don't have any W-2's. When I enter "0" in the forms it won't accept the entry so I can file.

In the final review of my taxes, an error keeps popping up asking me about Excess SDI.  We don't receive W-2's.  We haven't paid any SDI.  When I enter "0" in the required fields, I end up in a doo-loop telling me it's wrong.  How do I get around this doo-loop?

Type 'w2' in the Search area, then click on 'Jump to W2'.

When the W-2 Summary Page opens, Delete any entry there if you have no W-2's to enter.

Leaving the fields blank cleared the error and allowed the forms to be filed.  Perfect!  And, thanks!

Deleting the “0” in the excess SDI line and leaving the line blank did the trick for me!  I was then able to complete my filing.
