I think you should still file your tax return and indicate the total income - you do not need to pay anything until the income is above the taxable bracket.
You are not required to file because your income is beneath the filing threahold. You would want to file if there were any withholdings that you would like to recover (it appears that you do not have such). But you might still want to file because if you do, no one else can file using your SSN. Protects your identy somewhat.
Self-employment income may be reported even if you did not receive an IRS form 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC. Self-employment income is subject to self-employment tax as well as income tax. You may also deduct ordinary and necessary expenses against your self-employment income.
