I do not see an option to select "Return of excess employer contribution not included in wages" for the 1099SA. Please assist.

My employer contributed more than they should have to my HSA. I noticed this and returned the funds to them. I received a 1099SA for the distribution but I never took any funds out of my HSA in 2024. How can I note this when entering the 1099SA into Turbotax?

To enter the 1099-SA into TurboTax you'll have to go to the HSA section and tell it that you had medical expenses.  At that point you can enter your 1099-SA form.

The 1099-SA has a code on it in box 3.  Box 3 of should be code 2 which means 'excess contributions'.  If it has any other code you should contact the bank and request that they correct it.
