I do not have 1099-HC, only 1095-C. I had health insurance through someone else as I was under 26. Do I need their 1099-HC form for my taxes or can I continue without it?

I do not know how to add health insurance info for my MA state taxes as I did not personally have the insurance through myself or employer, I got it through as guardian as I was under age 26. I therefore only have a 1095 C form

Please see this answer from VictoriaD75.

Only the 1095-A needs to be entered on your return from insurance purchased through the marketplace. If you received a different 1095 form, such as one from employer benefits, you do not need to enter anything on your return. It is for your records only.

The 1095-HC is only sent for plans in MassHealth. If he was covered through your employer, he will not receive 1095-HC. He just needs to indicate that he had minimum essential coverage on his Massachusetts return.
