I dnloaded file to check it; TrbTx saying sent return to IRS. I haven't mailed it, am not eligible for e-file, & need to make changes before I mail, can I still do that?

I downloaded my return file so I could print it and check it on paper.  I paid for this so now TT is saying they sent my return to the IRS.  I need to make changes, can I still go into TT and make changes, re-print and send the revised return to the IRS?
