I didn't work last year. What do I do about filing my taxes?

If you are not reporting any income of any kind on a 2017 tax return, then there is no reason to file a tax return.

How did you support yourself? Can someone else claim you as a dependent?

My family helped support me. No one can claim me as a dependent. I'm waiting for a social security hearing. Also having a total hip replacement in February 2018

Am I eligible for any type of return? I'm waiting on my social security hearing.

No.  Without any earned income you are not eligible for any type of tax credit.  And without any wages that had taxes withheld you cannot get any tax refund.
