I didn't receive a 1099-INT from my bank. When I type in my interest information, it is requiring a FEIN. how do I resolve this to finalize my taxes?

There is no space on the 1099-INT entry page that requires an EIN. Is this because you imported it? Delete the import and enter manually.

@ColeenD3

I am having this occur as well.  I have reporting Interest Income less than the $10 minimum to have a 1099-INT generated.  TurboTax (Premier) does not require the FIEN (Tax ID) on the page where you enter the data, but rather comes up with a hard requirement to enter Federal Review step.  It appears that the same thing is occuring on all similar 1099's (ones that were never actually issued because of the minimum requirement) like 1099-DIV.

Nothing was imported, since the form didn't actually get generated.

Is this a new requirement?  How do I get past it?

@Nathan16

As a workaround, we are suggesting that you report it as other income. If you had any foreign tax paid, please take that into account.
