I didn't qualify for 1099 or other contractor tax documents because I didn't make over $400. How do I report my earnings on my taxes?

I worked one shift through a nursing agency and never worked there again. I want to document my earnings correctly on my taxes.

Taxpayers must report any income even if they did not receive their 1099 form. However, taxpayers do not need to send the 1099 form to the IRS when they file their taxes.  If you received 1099 income it would be reported on a Schedule C and self-employment taxes would be paid on the net profit of the income.    Just add the amount that you received from this job to your other 1099 income.   If you do not have any other 1099 income, then just report the amount from this job on a Schedule C on the line where it asks about income received without 1099.
