I didn't file my son's return for 2022 because he didn't work but one month. I am trying to add it to his 2023 return, how can I do this or can you do this?

I'm trying to see basically can I combine 2022 and 2023 on one return for this 2023 return.

NO,  you cannot add 2022 income to a 2023 tax return.   Only 2023 income goes on a 2023 return.

You say he worked for a month in 2022. Explain if he has a W-2 with anything in box 2 or 17; or if he had self-employment income of over $400.

No, you can't add a 2022 tax document to a 2023 tax return.

Each tax year has to be filed separately.

You can only use TurboTax Online to file the 2023 tax return.

To file the 2022 tax return, please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help article.
