I currently am using the 2016 CD/download version is there anyway to transfer over to the online version so I can complete my 2016 taxes and If so how do I do this?

If you have started your 2016 tax return in TurboTax Online you can take the following steps to transfer your unfiled return to the desktop software.

To save a copy of your TurboTax Online .2016tax data file take these steps:

• Sign into TurboTax
• Go to My TurboTax > Tax Timeline > Take me to my return
• Click on My Account > Tools
• Under the Other Helpful Links... Click on Save your 2016 return to your computer
• Your .2016tax data file will download. Save the download to your computer.
• Open your 2016 TurboTax desktop software. You will be able to Open the return in the software to continue working on your return.
