I converted from a sole proprietorship to a single member LLC in October. How do I handle filing?

I converted from a sole proprietorship to a single member LLC in October. Can I report everything on the same LLC? Would I use the LLC name?

Yes, if it is the same business, you will report all activity for your sole prop and SMLLC on the same Schedule C, just adding the LLC information in the business info section.

If you have a few minutes to review Single member limited liability companies, it may provide some insight from the IRS.
