I claim the ATC, now irs says I owe? How???? I file with TurboTax every year, claiming the same dependent for years

TurboTax never informed me about a time limit for my daughter in college! Now I owe money! How????

You mean the American Opportunity Tax Credit? You say you claimed it "every year?" You can only get that credit for a total of four times for an undergraduate student. Did you claim it more than four times?
