I can't transmit my federal return

2019 Turbotax is terrible!

 

Now it's saying I can't even transmit my federal return because there is an update available for my version. When trying to update, it tells me my software is up to date.

 

I give up!

Do not give up! You are almost there. 

 

Here is my advice: 

 

Update it a couple more times, exit the program, wait for a few minutes, then re-open your program to try.

  • If you are using the TurboTax CD/Download software program, open the program, from the top, under Online, select Check for Updates.

Hi,

It's not working so I decided to file my taxes with a competitor.

I'll give it another try next year.

Please refund my $40 I was charged for the additional state.

In order to discuss receiving a refund, you will need to contact our Customer Care department. Please click the link below and fill out the short form. Please list Billing Issues instead of refund as the reason for contact.

I have the same problem.  I tried 'Update' for 2 days, still cannot Launch Returns.  No help from TurboTax.  Worthless.  Cannot talk to a real person.

In some instances, temporary internet files can disrupt access to secure websites. If a page fails to load or you experience difficulties signing in to your account, clear your browser's temporary internet files, including cookies, cache and browser history.  Then close and restart your browser.
