I can't get a hold of state return number

I call them and wait for hours with no pickup. Can I go down to an office in Colorado springs?

You can visit your state’s Department of Revenue to find out if you can walk into an office to get service.  Please review the TurboTax article How do I contact my state's Department of Revenue? for more information.
