I can't enter quarterly data into fields for estimated taxes paid in 2018.

Please Help. I've tried entering my federal estimated taxes paid in 2018 and the program won't allow me to type anything.

To enter your estimated tax payments with TurboTax follow these steps.

  • With TurboTax open select the Deductions & Credits tab.
  • Scroll down to the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section.
  • Click on visit all on the line Estimated taxes, sales tax for items like cars.
  • Follow the screen prompts to enter your estimated tax payments.

You may have your "numlock key" off on your keyboaard.  If this is not the case, there is a blue hyperlink that says "Add another payment" in the federal estimated tax section.  You should be able to add the payments that way.

Open TurboTax and select the Deductions & Credits tab select I'll choose what I work on.

Scroll down to the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section.

Click on visit all on the line Estimated taxes, sales tax for items like cars.

Follow the screen prompts to enter your estimated tax payments.
