I can't choose the name of my adult dependent, what should I do? She qualifies for a tax break but her name won't pop up.

To clarify, 

did you enter her information in the "Personal Info" section?

Does she show as a dependent ?

Which credit?

What tax break are you trying to get for an adult dependent?    You get a $500 credit for other dependents --- which will be shown on line 19 of your Form 1040.  What other tax break are you seeking?
