I buy electricity from a provider that generates it using solar power. May I deduct my electricity charges?

Unfortunately, there's no provision for this on your federal tax return.

It's possible that your state might have some deductions available, but I'm not aware of any.  You might check your state Department of Revenue's website just to be sure -- please see below.
