I am using TT desktop Premier on a PC. I have Passive losses and a Long term Cp gain. TT is not offsetting the two.

On form 8582 my rental properties and DSTs are divided into groups on Part IV and part V for unknown reason.

Sorry but long term cap gains on a Sch D will never be offset by the passive losses on the form 8582.  The program is doing the return correctly.
