I am trying to see why i have a tax penalty. I am on the possible penalty exception page and I do not know where i am supposed to find if my 2023 tax liability was zero?

Did you use TurboTax last year and are you using the same TurboTax account this year?

 

• If you are using TurboTax Online, and 
• if you used TurboTax last year, and 
• If you are using the same TurboTax account as last year, 

access the 2023 income tax return by selecting Tax Home in the upper left hand corner of the screen.  Then select Your tax returns & documents at the bottom of the screen.

 

If the tax year that you are looking for is not there, that tax year may be in a different Intuit account.
