I am trying to get a transcript and the irs says my information is incorrect

Refer to Transcript Types and Ways to Order Them for alternatives to Get Transcript Online. You may use Get Transcript by Mail or you may call our automated phone transcript service at 800-908-9946 to order a tax return or tax account transcript be sent by mail. Please allow 5 to 10 calendar days from the time we receive your request for your transcript to arrive. The time frame for delivery is the same for all available tax years.

I followed Turbos instructions as well as the irs to get my transcript but online isn't working, can't verify my ID or something like that. 

So I called to get it in the mail... No help at all and the site says they are not mailing transcripts at this time at all but I still called.

They paddled on about being short of staff, repeatedly told me to use thier online site then hung up in my face. The whole thing was automated. The only choice they actually gave you was picking either English or Spanish. Dont bother calling. The whole system is shut down but when you can't get ×what you need from them and file late trust the will be sire to pin your tail and get thier money even though its thier systems fault.

If you can't get your transcript online then forget about it. The system is jacked. I tried and got the same response so I called and they praddled off stuff about no staff then COVID 19 before the hung up in my face. The whole thing was automated too. 

Your just going to have to wait until this virus thing is finished and file for an extention to be safe cause they will charge you no matter that the reason you couldn't do your sltaxes was because of them.
