I am told to select a brokerage but I am NOT given any links where I can do this. Something is missing!

If you are entering a 1099-B into TurboTax, or wish to import the 1099-B into your return, you will need to find your way to the Investment section.

While signed in and working in TurboTax:

  • Click Federal in the left-hand black menu
  • Then click on Wages and Expenses
  • Scroll down until you get to Investment Income
  • Click on Start or Revisit next to Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
