I am self employed & using the Home Business Desktop cd for Mac and Windows. Need to re-enter property taxes. Where?

My property tax was partially paid from escrow, but was underestimated at the time of the mortgage. We made additional payments later in the year.  I entered the complete total, but now have come to a question to enter additional property taxes paid. I would like to correct the first entry to just what was paid from escrow, but can't find  where to make this change.

Does it make a difference as long as the sum total is the same? I'd like to change in to separate the actual escrow/my direct payments, will it make a difference with my taxes?

Hi dmichaeldonato,

To edit Property Taxes that you've already entered:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax Account
  2. Click Continue if so prompted
  3. In the upper right hand corner click Search
  4. Type "property taxes"
  5. Click Jump to real estate, taxes
  6. You'll be taken to a page where you can edit accordingly.

Best,
