I am retired and did not work...hence no w2. I want skip the whole w2 income section but it keeps telling me I need to "fix" my return before I can file???

You can see if there is a W-2 in your documents and if so, delete it. 

Sometimes forms are carried over from the previous year. 

 

To Delete a Form  using TurboTax Online:
Select Tax Tools on the left side-bar
Select Tools from that drop-down
Select “Delete a form” on the TOOLS CENTER screen
Look for Form  W- 2

If you had a W-2 last year, and you start this year's return from last year's file, it will create a blank W-2 ready for you to fill in.  You can go to the page for W-2s and look where is says "needs review" and look at the list of W-2s.  Delete any you don't need any more.
