I am getting reject code r0103. The amount on W2 matches to the penny. This is for NYS.

reject code r0103. The error states that the amount on W2 does not match. I entered the exact amount $xxx.66. should I put the .66 or should I round up? could this be the reason why my return is being rejected?

Yes, try rounding up and, if that doesn't work, try rounding down

I received this code for my NYS taxes; how do you change it?  on your Federal? or your State?  I can access this this section on the federal side but NYS seems to be n on-existent except  when its reviewing.  How do I amend??

The error came when turbo tax transferred my information from Federal to State.  Not of my doing.  It seems that because turbo entered the information it is not letting me reach the section I need in order to make the change.  This is the first time happening.

I’m having the same problem. No way to fix it!! The TurboTax software rounded this box 14 amount up so it doesn’t match the W2 amount exactly and my e-file was rejected. Now I have to go through the hassle of figuring out how to file ON PAPER. So glad I paid $120 for the peace of mind software that messed up my return AND doesn’t have an easy solution to fix it but actually forces me to manually submit this return on paper. Lovely.

I contacted the NY State Department of Taxation and they suggested I contact Turbo Tax because they had heard of this error before and believe it's due to a Turbo Tax software problem. I'm not able to speak to anyone at Turbo Tax without paying...doesn't seem fair if it's their error.

Be sure to check W2 boxes 15-17 for accuracy; that is the state area of your W2.  Box 14 is informational and is not put anywhere on your return unless it is entered in another box somewhere.

Thank you for the reply. I did check every box for accuracy, re-submitted it, and it was rejected again. I will have to mail it in.
