I am filing for extension and I have tax document from 2017 that has combined AGI for me and my wife. While doing extension for 2018 what do I enter in my wife's AGI?

Because you filed jointly, you should use the exact same AGI amount for you and your spouse.

Your AGI can be found on your 2017 Tax Return:

If you filed a:

  • 2017 Form 1040: your AGI can be found on line 37
  • 2017 Form 1040A: your AGI can be found on line 21
  • 2017 Form 1040 EZ: your AGI can be found on line 4
