I am entering gambling winnings, the first 2 both from the same casino are good, then next 2 from a different casino both say needs review. I have checked and rechecked

I still have quite a few more w2g's to enter and want to figure out what the problem is, thanks

The first casino didn't have state info, but the second did.  Once I removed the state info from the second it didn't say review anymore.  HELP

On form W-2G, the state info is in 3 boxes:

  1. Box 13: State/Payer's state ID number
  2. Box 14: State winnings
  3. Box 15: State income tax withheld

If box 15 is 0 or blank, you do not have any state tax withheld and you should leave all 3 boxes 13, 14 and 15 blank, even if box 13 and/or 14 is populated.

I have entered all my W2G's, all the ones are from one casino that says "needs review". All the rest have no issues. I  have checked and doublechecked  all entries many times but still says NEEDS REVIEW.

Also had issue with inputting W2G's taking forever to enter data in each field. These W2G's have been a nightmare since day one.

Yes, entering W2G's in Turbo Tax is a known issue because of the lack of speed in trying to enter the data. This has been brought to the attention of the developers.

If you are sure that this information is correct, see if you can move on and file your return as long if there are no other issues in your return.
