I am at consent form and I keep getting taxpayer ss number does not match, what does that mean? its correct

filing jointly, both social security is coming up as it does not match which is incorrect, how do we fix this problem?

Did you try to file and get rejected, or is this internal to TurboTax and it's highlighting posable error?

  • If it's internal to TurboTax, check the spelling of the names.
  • Confirm the social security number.
  • If all else fails: Mail the tax return.
