When you call yourself a "Snowbird" it sounds like you are no longer actively employed.  If that's not true, give me a few more details.

If that's the case, you only file one resident tax return for wherever you are considered a resident.  What state issued your driver's license, where are you registered to vote?

If you do have wages, you would file a Non-resident tax return and report that income just in that state.  On your resident return, you report your worldwide income and receive a credit for taxes paid to another state on your resident state tax return.

If WA is your state of residence, you have no filing requirement because WA has no state income tax

If you are working for wages in AZ you would file a Non-resident Tax Return and only report those wages on your AZ tax return.  You would not report your Social Security payments or other retirement plan distributions on your AZ return.
