I am a dependent, I am on my mom's 1095-A. TurboTax asked if I was covered by a marketplace plan; I selected YES and then I was asked to enter the 1095-A info. Why?

I thought that since I am dependent and on my mother's 1095-A I am not supposed to enter that 1095-A info again.

Correct, you should not enter the 1095-A info again.  First, make sure you have indicated that you can be claimed as a dependent in My Info section.  If the question is still populating, answer "No".  As a dependent, you should not report the 1095-A.

See: I'm on my parents' 1095-A form. What do I do on my return?

Thank you, MindyB.  I saw that response too and I triple checked that I was entering yes to dependent.  Question is still asking me if "YOU or my dependents were covered by a Marketplace plan" click "YES" but I will click "NO."  Maybe it's a Turbo Tax software glitch.   Thanks again!
