I already purchased my 2016 TurboTax download but I am having trouble downloading because I can't download Microsoft.NET Framework 4.5.2. What are my alternatives?

IF you computer truly needs to have the Microsoft.NET Framework 4.5.2 installed it is because your computer DOES NOT have all of the MS updates.  Before trying to install TTax, you should first make sure your computer has all required updates installed.

1. Click on the 'Start' icon in the lower left corner of your screen
2. In the 'Search' window type "update'
3. From the list of items in the 'drop-down' list select/click "Windows Update" (usually near the top of the list)
4. When the 'Update' screen opens select "Check for updates" listed in the column at the left
5. Allow you computer to download all applicable MS updates (you need to be connected to the internet at this point; also if any of the updates are identified as 'drivers' I personally would recommend NOT installing them.)

Note that if the Microsoft.NET Framework 4.5.2 update is the only one that is required I believe that it is INCLUDED with the TTax program download and installation (it is included on the CD, but I have never used the download).
