I already adjusted my wages and said that I was not an inmate or in work release but it still won't let me get EIC because it says I was an inmate what do I do now?

If you have already walked through each of your W2s in TurboTax, I recommend that you delete your W2s and then re-enter them to get rid of this "inmate" designation.

To delete your W2s, follow these steps in TurboTax Online:

• Sign In to TurboTax Online
• Click "Take Me to my Return"
• Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
• Click "Edit/Add" next to the Job(W2) section
• Click the picture of the trashcan to delete each W2
