I adopted through DSS in 2016 which is considered a special needs adoption. How do I apply for the tax credit?

In order to apply for the Adoption Tax credit, in TurboTax, please do the following:

  • Federal Taxes
  • Deductions & Credits
  • You and Your Family
  • Adoption Credit, please click Start
