Hpw can I get Turbotax to show the adjusted dividends I have stated?

I adjusted the amount of my Fidelity dividend, but it does not show as adjusted.

NOTE:   Are these dividends from a 1099-DIV?    If you have the desktop software, you can review the 1099-DIV in Forms Mode to see if the adjustment is showing up.  And while in Forms Mode the adjustments should also display on the Schedule B when you scroll way down.

I'm a fellow user, not a tax expert, but in the interest of time I'll ask a couple of questions people may need in order to further comment.

First of all, what type of adjustments to the dividends?   And how did you enter them?   Was it on a screen following the 1099-DIV entry screen that asks something like "Tell us if you have any of these uncommon situations" (or words to that effect) and lists 5-6 situations with check boxes?

And are you using Online TurboTax or the desktop software?  If the latter, is it Mac or PC?

Thanks, I appreciate that you gave such a detailed  and thoughtful answer. Meanwhile, I've figured out that the adjustment only shows up silently at the end of the process when the taxable income is computed, not when one is putting in the information.
