How would I file if my parents are claiming me and I'm a full time student?

If your parents are claiming you on their tax return as their dependent, you will enter all of your information as you go through the interview questions.  Please make sure you put a check mark in the box to the left of the question "Someone else can claim you on their tax return” and fill in the circle for the “Someone will claim me in 2016”. This will allow your parent's to claim you on their 2016 tax return and will allow you to file your 2016 tax return as Single and not claiming yourself as an exemption.
