How to transfer photo of W-2 from phone Photo Gallery to Turbo Tax

Only have picture of my W-2 on my phone

There is no way to enter a W-2 into TurboTax from a photo on your phone. The simplest thing to do would be to just enter the W-2 manually. It only takes a minute or two to enter a W-2. That would be much faster and easier than trying to figure out a way to use the photo to enter it.

Are you using Online TurboTax or the Mobile App?

 

The Mobile App allows one to snap a photo of the W-2 in realtime entry when prompted, and it goes directly into the program.   As rjs indicated, it does not allow one to upload their own saved photo as an image file.
