How to merge data from old accounts and change the username that they connect under?

I've been a user for years, and I'm trying to clean up my account(s).  There are two. I would like to take the data from those accounts and merge it into a single account, with different login credentials.

Sorry--TurboTax accounts cannot be merged.  Choose one to use going forward and stick with that one.  Keep a record for yourself of the old accounts so that you can access them if needed.

And if i were to delete both accounts, and create a third to use moving forward - my main issues would be in gathering the correct paperwork, correct?
