We're window users. Can Turbotax Premier tax software read in last year's H&RB file and Turbotax file to create one joint tax return without re-keying in all the data?
Yes. TurboTax for Windows personal CD/Download desktop software will transfer last year's tax data file (.tax2018 file) or PDF from the 2018 TurboTax desktop or online software. I used H&R Block to file my return last year. My partner used Turbotax to file his return last year. This year, we got married and wanted to file married couple joint return. Can Turbotax import my H&RB file AND at the same time Turbotax file (both files) and create ONE single new tax return in Turbotax? (I am not asking if Turbotax can read HRB file or not.
