How to get turbotax application to NOT calculate penalties

Hello.

I want the IRS to calculate penalties.

 

Here it describes ( i think) how to do it with the

Online verion of Turbotax answer .

 

Is it the same procedure for the Windows application?

IE find and delete form 2210.

I don't know if that old answer that you referenced from several years ago ever worked. Deleting Form 2210 will not remove the penalty that TurboTax calculated.


In the TurboTax CD/Download software, go to forms mode and open Form 2210. At the top of Form 2210, check box C, which says "Check to have the IRS figure the penalty and send a bill if penalty due."
