How to file my taxes for last year

Hello,

I need some help as I didn't file my 2018 taxes in 2019, and I'm not sure how to do it.

Basically I moved from Europe to the US in 2018, and it took some time for me to create an IRS account. At some point, it was too complicated for me to file my taxes by myself and then it was too late. I didn't know that most people use a service such as Turbo tax to help them.

I downloaded "Turbo Tax deluxe 2018" to file my 2018 taxes from here http://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products.jsp
but turns out TurboTax now tells me that the IRS owes me money so it gives me a tax return but I'm unable to E-File as the season closed last year.

I'm able to print the returns and send them by mail though but not sure if it's the right way to do it?

Also, I'm more interested in fixing my situation than getting money, I just want to be "clean" thats all.

Yes.  You now have to print and mail prior year returns.  When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS or State received the return. Mail federal and state  in separate envelopes.

You mail Federal to the IRS.

And mail each state to the right state.  And some states want a copy of the federal attached.
