How to enter info from this 1099b

I received a 1099b from Uphold, a cryptocurrency exchange. It says "Short-term transactions for which basis is not reported to the IRS - report on Form 8949 with Box B checked, and/or Schedule D Part 1. Proceeds are reported as gross proceeds unless otherwise indicated (2, 6, 12). The 1099b data referenced by a Box Number is reported to the IRS. The additional information not referenced by a Box Number is not reported to the IRS but may be helpful to complete your return."

For someone who is more familiar with Turbotax, do these instructions make sense? If so, is there a simple way to add Form 8949 to my return? My total short-term gain from cryptocurrencies last year was about $800 if that helps in answering this question. Thank you for any feedback.

Form 8949 should be populated in your return automatically after your crypto information was imported in your return. To see if it has been added:

  1. Click on Tax Tools in the black left menu bar
  2. Click on Tools>delete a form
  3. Just check to see if Form 8949 is listed in your list of forms
