How to add form 8888 to my efile

You won't need to add the form separately, it is already part of the filing experience!

When you are ready to file and have run the final review on your return:

1. Click the File tab.
2. On the screen, How do you want your $ federal refund, select Direct Deposit to a bank account.
3. Go to the bottom of the screen and mark the box I would like to split my refund into more than one account.
4. On the screen, Tell Us What You Would Like to Do, choose the appropriate option;  split your refund into more than one account, purchase savings bonds, etc.
5. Depending on your selection, you will see screens to Purchase Savings Bond, and/or Split your Refund into Multiple Accounts.
6. Enter the requested information and click Continue.
7. Form 8888 will automatically transmit with your return.
8. Continue to file your return.

Amended refile

I amended my taxes & didn't click box to direct deposit refund

How do I add form 8888 to my amended taxes

You cannot add a form 8888 to an amended return.   All refunds will come as a paper check mailed to the address on the 1040X.
