this question is on Form 8857; Innocent Spouse Relief; part IV, question 22.
the term household, is it the same term used when filling the income tax or can it be that for this scenario I can include every person who I support in my house?
I have my daughter and son who live with me. they are over 21 years old and are not currently in college.
however, they live with me so obviously i am providing them a shelter and food. Can i include them as a household when filling this form?
Innocent spouse isn't very common....are you sure you shouldn't be filing as an Injured Spouse?

Lisa995, this is the one that was instructed by the IRS to fill based on my situation.

OP has not identified the tax year in question. Seems like there may have different people living in the household at different times.
