If you have chosen to file your return by mail instead of electronic filing, then the processing time starts when you print and mail the return.
It takes 6 to 8 weeks for the IRS to process a mailed tax return from the time that it is received.
TurboTax does not print and mail your return on your behalf. It is your responsibility to take care of that when 'file by mail' is chosen.
