How long after NC releases their forms will Turbotax be ready to file them?

Specifically I am waiting on Sch S to be able to file my NC tax return.

Form NC D-400 Sch S, Supplemental Schedule for tax year 2021 is estimated to be finalized and available for e-filing in TurboTax on 02/24/2022

Go to this TurboTax website for North Carolina state forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_nc_online_individual.html

I just checked the forms availability page.  It shows the NC Form D-400 Schedule S is available, but I'm still getting the message "Do not file this return until this calculation is finalized in the upcoming release of TurboTax/North Carolina".  Maybe coming soon?

Have you updated your TurboTax software installed on your computer?  Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Check for Updates.

Thanks for the tip.  I just checked, and I'm already up to date.

I am using the online version and also am getting the message that the form Sch S for NC return is not available.  Why is that?  How long until it becomes available in Turbotax?

@searhodes

No one here knows what the issue is yet

One thing you might consider....IF you haven't paid for the NC formset yet, you cold delete the NC formset entirely and re-start the NC state section again.   It's possible that the problem tracks to some $$ already transferred improperly to a temporary form before the final Sched S was ready, and starting the NC forms all over "might" clear it.

But don't attempt this if you've already paid for the NC software....not sure what would happen then.
