How do you create W-2s for household employees, ie Nannies, using Turbotax Self-Employed online. The W-2 reporter link in 2017 Turbotax Business is not online in 2018.

Yes, you can also access the online module to create W-2s and 1099s in TurboTax Self Employed utilizing the Quick Employer Forms module.  Plus, you should also be able to access the same online module in TurboTax Business.  Here is the direct link to Quick Employer Forms.  You can use your same TurboTax ID and password to access the software.

For Future Access -- here is how to access the Quick Employer Forms module from within TurboTax Self Employed and from TurboTax Business:

To access from within TurboTax Self Employed, select "Take Me to My Return" and then scroll down to Manage Your Return and there should be an option to "Create W-2's and 1099s."  See screenshot attached.

How to access in TurboTax Business:  After opening TurboTax Business software, toward the bottom of the initial screen there is an option to Prepare W-2s and 1099s for Contractors.  Select this and you should be given an option to utilize the "online" (where you can create forms, print and e-file) or the "on your computer" option (where you can print only them.)  See screenshot attached.

This link states that Quick Employer Forms is not included with TurboTax Self-Employed.  And you cannot do Turbotax business online anymore, and I have a MAC so I don't think I can do this via TurboTax

What link says it’s not included with the Self Employed version?

You could never do Turbo Tax Business Online.  Don’t confuse Business with the personal Home & Business version.  They are different.  The Online Home & Business was just renamed to the Self Employed version.

You can install Turbo Tax Home & Business Desktop CD/Download program on your Mac. Or use the Online Self Employed version on Mac.

The QEF page states that online filing of W2s is not included in TurboTax self-employed online anymore.  It does look like you can get QEF in Mac Desktop Home & Business.  I was looking at Turbotax Business earlier, which doesn't support Mac.  Thanks, I think I finally figured this out

That’s not right.  It must mean something else.  I can’t find that statement.  You have a link?

The QEF page definitely said you cannot create W2s with TurboTax self-employed.  I went ahead and downloaded Turbotax Home & Business & Voila-now I am able to build the W2s.  Last year, I used online Turbotax Home & Business & was able to build W2s but I guess they pulled that feature from self-employed.
